Principal - Rocio Telinski
RT&A is led by Rocio Telinski, a seasoned, hands-on expert in Staffing, Recruiting and Talent Acquisition solutions with nearly 20 years experience providing top talent to some of the most demanding organizations in the world.
Prior to founding RT&A, Rocio Telinski spent nine years as Director of Human Resources and Recruiting for Chicago IT consulting firm, Electronic Knowledge Interchange. In this role, she was responsible for Human Resources, Strategic Recruiting, and Leadership Development. Working with the company's founders from its inception, Rocio designed, developed, and implemented the firm's talent management, recruiting, and employment processes, and implemented its applicant tracking systems. As part of her recruiting strategies, she hired many IT professionals from several countries in Latin America for her USA clients. She also provided talent acquisition services to one of the world’s largest retailers, and to clients such as the State of Illinois, IBM, ABN AMRO, Bank One, Accenture, Unext.com, the City of Chicago, a Global Leader in Investment Management, niche Consulting Services companies, and one of the world's largest food manufacturing companies.
Prior to joining EKI, Rocio served as an Executive Recruiting Consultant for ExecuSearch sourcing IT executives for Oracle Corporation, Lotus Development, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft Corporation. In addition, for six years, Rocio led the Human Resources department for advertising giant Foote Cone & Belding's Mexico office.
Rocio holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources from Iberoamericana University, Mexico City, and completed the Human Resources Management Program at National-Louis University in Chicago.
She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Human Capital Institute, Staffing Management Association (SMA), the Illinois IT Association (ITA), the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and the Union League Club of Chicago.
Rocio serves as Vice President of Board of Directors and Chair of the Governance Committee on the board of the non-profit organization, Youth Guidance, an 86 year old school-based social service agency focused on removing the obstacles in the life of Chicago's at-risk children so they can focus on their education and, ultimately, to succeed in school and in life.
She is also a member of Metro Achievement Center for Girls' Advancement Council; a Chicago-based non-profit organization that provides a supplementary education program. This program instills a sense of personal worth, develops students' talents, character and spirit of service, and strengthens academic skills and work habits of Chicago's inner-city girls.
Recruiting Manager - Steve Herlihy
RT&A's staffing is managed by Steve Herlihy with over 15 years of technical recruiting experience. Prior to Rocio Telinski & Associates, LLC, Steve Herlihy worked for the Chicago IT consulting firm Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI) as a Senior Technical Recruiter providing consultants for direct-hire as well as consultants, on a contract basis, for both staff augmentation and to complement EKI project teams. Steve was instrumental in helping EKI achieve vendor-of-the-year status with one of the world's largest retailers along with providing IT consultants to such clients as the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois, IBM, ABN AMRO, and Northern Trust.
Prior to working at EKI, Steve recruited primarily in staff augmentation for the IT, engineering, and scientific industries including the oldest engineering staffing firm in the U.S., the H.L. Yoh Company. Steve also helped start up a staffing office in the Chicago area for TRS/Tekton, a division of the Fluor Daniel engineering firm.
Steve has a Bachelors Degree in Journalism-Broadcast News from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL.
